Once upon a time, there was a young but wise robot princess who ruled the Robot Kingdom. She inherited the throne from her late father, the Robot King, and ran the country so skilfully and justly that the robots never lacked for anything. There was enough memory and battery for everyone, and even the poorest could enjoy the occasional fine oil tea.
Sadly, like all good things, it came to an end. An evil robowitch, envious of the robot princess's beauty and wisdom, cursed her and her entire court.
Oh, how the fate of the kingdom's subjects took a turn for the worse from then on! They shivered in their cold, powerless homes, queued for hours for their daily ration of electricity, and even the richest couldn't afford the oil tea.
Soon, in the name of the robot princess, it was proclaimed throughout the realm that whoever could break the curse would win the hand of the princess and be crowned King of the Robots. Well, many came to the royal court to make an attempt - the young and the old, the strong and the weak, the clever and the foolish, the noble and the vile - but none could break the curse.
